The rural Julian Union School District serves 322 students in ESK-8th grade in two contiguously located schools. Although our student population is small, our geographic boundaries encompass more than 600 square miles of mountain and desert regions, including two Indian reservations. The Julian Pathways Center for Family, Schools and Community (Pathways) provides support services to all district students and families as well as children ages 0-5 and their families. Pathways provides a spectrum of integrated support (spanning the areas of youth development, family services, academic enrichment, health and mental health) including 21st Century Community Learning and ASES extended learning programs, Intergenerational Safe Routes to Schools, Farm to School nutrition program and educational school garden, and Drug Free Communities.
